Own guest services operations at a high-volume property and support revenue growth through attentive front desk service. What You'll Do10
- 1Build guest relationships by answering inquiries, processing reservations, and coordinating messages and mail with timely delivery
- 2Design and enforce front desk protocols, rate quotes, VIP requests, and promotions to optimize occupancy and revenue
- 3Lead room status reporting, bucket checks, and housekeeping communication to ensure accurate availability and cleanliness standards
- 4Drive guest satisfaction by assisting in training and cross-training of new hires and current staff
- 5Own security and cash handling through proper house bank management and key control measures
- 6Scale operations by ensuring efficient check-in/out, curbside communication, and emergency procedures knowledge
- 7Ship room status updates to affected departments and monitor performance against budgeted productivity
- 8Drive teamwork across departments with consistent communication and adherence to Highgate policies
- 9Oversee guest services tasks on shift checklists to maintain service levels and standards
- 10Debug and improve daily front desk operations to support a seamless guest experience
Requirements5
- 1High School diploma or equivalent required
- 22-3 years progressive hotel or related field experience
- 3Previous supervisory responsibility preferred
- 4Valid driver`s license for applicable state
- 5Flexible and long hours sometimes required
