Guest Service Agent, Hospitality Front Desk & Guest Experience
Overview
The Guest Service Agent will own check-in, guest inquiries, and checkout for a high-volume property, driving guest satisfaction and occupancy. You’ll coordinate front desk operations and support guest services across shifts at a Scottsdale hotel. This role emphasizes friendly service, cash handling adherence, and accurate reporting. What You'll Do10
- 1Greet guests and welcome them at the Front Desk following brand standards
- 2Operate the front desk systems and PBX console to support smooth check-ins and checkouts
- 3Address guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities, and local amenities
- 4Log and deliver packages, mail, and messages to guests and meeting rooms
- 5Review daily Front Office log and Trace File for room status and issues
- 6Respond to guest questions about restaurants, transportation and entertainment
- 7Follow cash handling and credit policies and maintain awareness of rates, packages and promotions
- 8Assist with in-house groups and monitor closed out or restricted dates
- 9Obtain guest information for reservations and quote rates according to policy
- 10Maintain guest programs and promotions and ensure a clean work area
Requirements10
- 1College coursework in related field (helpful)
- 2High School diploma or equivalent required
- 3Computer experience required
- 4Customer service experience preferred
- 5Flexible and long hours sometimes required
- 6Ability to stand for entire shift
- 7Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 20 pounds occasionally
- 8Strong communication and multitasking abilities
- 9Willingness to attend required meetings and trainings
- 10Maintain regular attendance and comply with hotel standards
