What You'll Do5
- 1Lead and develop talent within Shoulder R&D building a strong technical culture grounded in innovation accountability inclusion and career growth
- 2Provide strategic and technical direction aligning shoulder implant instrumentation and enabling technology programs with clinical needs surgeon insights and business priorities
- 3Drive execution of differentiated product development projects from early concept through design verification validation regulatory submission support and launch readiness
- 4Partner with marketing clinical affairs regulatory affairs quality supply chain manufacturing professional education and surgeon advisors to translate unmet needs into scalable solutions
- 5Utilize post project learnings competitor understanding surgeon feedback and product performance insights to strengthen development processes and identify future innovation opportunities
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Applied Science or related discipline minimum 8 years work experience minimum 2 years management experience
- 2Proven ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects meeting departmental goals and objectives
- 3Experience managing departmental budgets and allocating resources effectively
- 4Strong communication skills using written or oral formats to convey critical design project information to customers
- 5Ability to build effective interdependent partnering relationships achieving departmental and company goals
- 6Demonstrated decision making impacting costs product launch timelines and customer relations
- 7Experience maintaining confidentiality of trade secrets product development initiatives marketing plans sales numbers budgets and employee compensation
- 8Effective communication with salesforce surgeons vendors DePuy Management Board and internal departments
- 9Up to 15% business travel required
- 10Minimum 5+ years experience with Spark Airflow and other relevant data tools
