What You'll Do11
- 1Design and develop instruments and implants using Pro/E software
- 2Partner with in-house prototype shop and external vendors for rapid prototyping
- 3Perform design verification and validation activities to meet specifications
- 4Gather market feedback from spine surgeons to define functional requirements
- 5Create and maintain project plans and Design History Files for each project
- 6Manage full project lifecycle ensuring timely completion and regulatory compliance
- 7Partner with marketing to develop forecasts and coordinate manufacturing setup
- 8Assist with product introductions through sales training and customer engagement
- 9Conduct post introduction monitoring to address customer change requests
- 10Research market and competition to maintain cutting edge technology position
- 11Ensure adherence to company code of conduct and regulatory requirements
Requirements7
- 11-3 years mechanical design engineering experience preferred in medical devices
- 2Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required
- 3Proficiency in Pro/E software for design and drafting
- 4Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced environment
- 5Strong organizational skills and detail orientation
- 6Experience with Microsoft Project and travel requirements
- 7Physical stamina including lifting capabilities and visual acuity requirements
