Overview
Own and maintain the River Oaks community grounds at Kansas City, ensuring clean, safe, and inviting outdoor spaces. You’ll perform lawn care, flowerbed maintenance, weed control, mulching, and seasonal tasks for a 40 hour weekly temporary role. You’ll join a team that supports training and opportunities for advancement. This role offers hands on landscaping duties and a focus on reliable handiwork in all weather conditions.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and maintain lawns, flowerbeds, and landscaping features to create curb appeal
- 2M u l c h and weed beds to promote healthy plant growth and reduce maintenance needs
- 3Cut weeds and trim edges to maintain neat property lines
- 4Perform seasonal tasks such as salting walkways and snow/ice removal during winter
- 5Operate groundskeeping equipment safely and perform basic maintenance checks
- 6Assist with other groundskeeping tasks as needed to support property operations
- 7Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests while on site
- 8Maintain safety and cleanliness in all work areas and report hazards
- 9Coordinate with property management for timely upkeep during peak seasons
- 10Document maintenance activities and ensure tasks are completed within scheduled windows
Requirements10
- 1High School Diploma or GED required
- 2Previous maintenance experience preferred
- 3Valid operator’s license and clean driving record
- 4Ability to bend, stretch, twist, walk continuously, and access restricted spaces
- 5Ability to operate groundskeeping and other maintenance equipment
- 6Ability to lift or move up to 75 pounds
- 7Ability to work with minimal supervision
- 8Ability to tolerate exposure to various chemical compounds
- 9Temporary opportunity with 40 hours per week
