Group 1 Toyota Stone Mountain seeks a General Sales Manager to own new and used sales volume and gross profit at a high-volume Toyota dealership. You lead a retail sales force, manage inventory, and partner with the General Manager to forecast monthly sales. What You'll Do10
- 1Run all sales activities for New and Used departments to hit monthly volume and gross targets.
- 2Recruit, hire, and develop a retail sales force that meets quotas.
- 3Track vehicle inventory and days’ supply, appraising incoming used vehicles.
- 4Brief salespeople on new inventory, rebates, and incentives.
- 5Jump into customer interactions to close deals and boost satisfaction.
- 6Supervise new car sales associates, ensuring individual and department goals.
- 7Partner with Financial Services to sharpen sales tactics.
- 8Forecast monthly sales and expenses with the General Manager.
- 9Model company values with customers, coworkers, and vendors.
- 10Own ad-hoc tasks from management to keep operations smooth.
Requirements10
- 13-5 years in sales management, ideally automotive.
- 2Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and Email.
- 3Familiarity with CDK Dealer Services is a plus.
- 4Self-starter who works well independently.
- 5Comfortable in a commission-driven, performance-based role.
- 6High school diploma or equivalent.
- 7Valid driver license with a clean record.
