General Manager, Pizza Restaurant Operations
Overview
You will own the full P&L for a Domino's store, driving profitability, cost control, and customer satisfaction at a volume of $1M+ annually. You will lead a crew of 10-20, hire and train staff, and manage all inventory, cash, and food safety standards. This role reports to the franchise owner and offers a clear path to multi-unit management or franchise ownership. Unlike typical GM roles, you will have full autonomy over staffing, marketing, and local store growth.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and manage the store schedule to optimize labor costs while meeting customer demand.
- 2Own inventory control by ordering supplies, tracking usage, and minimizing waste.
- 3Drive profitability through cost controls, sales growth, and local marketing initiatives.
- 4Lead the crew by setting the example: follow all policies and procedures 100% of the time.
- 5Handle cash control: verify drawers, make deposits, and reconcile daily sales.
- 6Manage customer relations: resolve complaints and ensure a positive experience for every order.
- 7Ensure food management standards: product quality, rotation, and preparation accuracy.
- 8Complete paperwork and reporting: daily, weekly, and monthly operational metrics.
- 9Maintain store cleanliness and a perfect image inside and outside the building.
- 10Develop team members: train, coach, and promote from within to build a strong bench.
Requirements8
- 13+ years of restaurant management experience, preferably in quick service or delivery.
- 2Proven ability to control costs, labor, and food to meet targets.
- 3Strong leadership skills: hire, train, and retain a high-performing crew.
- 4Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from the store.
- 5Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- 6Physical stamina to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 pounds.
- 7Basic computer skills for point-of-sale systems and scheduling software.
- 8Excellent written and verbal communication with customers and staff.
