Furniture Sales Consultant, Retail & Design

You own the full sales cycle in a Havertys showroom, guiding customers from first contact to delivery and beyond. You'll work with the Interior Design Consultant to style rooms and close sales, using proprietary tablets and CRM technology. Your target: $55,000-$100,000+ annually with uncapped commission. What You'll Do8
- 1Welcome customers and assess their furniture needs across a broad product range.
- 2Connect customers with the Interior Design Consultant for complementary design sessions.
- 3Close sales by demonstrating product quality, service options, and finance plans.
- 4Build repeat relationships through personalized follow-up in the CRM.
- 5Maintain up-to-date knowledge of furniture styles, materials, and trends.
- 6Meet and exceed monthly sales targets in a competitive retail environment.
- 7Handle customer objections with confidence and creative flair.
- 8Use tablets and proprietary technology for customer engagement and order entry.
Requirements8
- 11-3 years of retail experience, preferably in commissioned sales.
- 2High School diploma or equivalent; college education preferred.
- 3Computer proficiency with email; MS Office experience a plus.
- 4Strong iPad and tablet operation abilities.
- 5Experience with Interior Design strongly desired.
- 6Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple customers.
- 7Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- 8Flexibility to work nights and weekends as scheduled.
