Fund Accountant - Bracane Company
Overview
The Fund Accountant will own financial reporting and operations for investment funds at a growing investment firm in Downtown Dallas. What You'll Do10
- 1Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements for investment funds
- 2Maintain general ledger activity and perform account reconciliations
- 3Record journal entries and ensure accuracy of financial data
- 4Calculate and process capital calls investor distributions and partner allocations
- 5Assist with Net Asset Value NAV calculations
- 6Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits
- 7Prepare supporting schedules for tax reporting and year-end financial statements
- 8Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
- 9Analyze financial results and prepare management reports
- 10Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency
Requirements6
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons leading accounting teams
- 3Bachelor`s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 4CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- 5Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- 6Experience with accounting or fund management software is a plus
