What You'll Do7
- 1Load and unload petroleum products at company sites and customer locations, following all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
- 2Drive a tanker truck on local routes in the Baltimore area, prioritizing safety and on-time delivery.
- 3Inspect the truck daily: check oil, water, fuel, tires, and tank integrity before each shift.
- 4Complete and transmit delivery paperwork using company systems, ensuring accuracy for billing.
- 5Coordinate with dispatchers on route changes, delivery schedules, and potential delays.
- 6Maintain a clean vehicle and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- 7Attend safety meetings and follow hazardous material handling procedures.
Requirements8
- 1Valid Class A or Class B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
- 2TWIC card required or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
- 31+ years of commercial driving experience, ideally with fuel or hazardous materials.
- 4Clean driving record meeting DOT and FMCSA standards.
- 5Pass pre-employment DOT drug test and random drug/alcohol screenings.
- 6Hold a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate.
