Fuel Truck Driver, CDL & Hazmat Endorsements
Overview
You own the safe delivery of petroleum products to company sites and customers across the Baltimore region. Operating a commercial tanker with CDL and Hazmat endorsements, you run local routes and return home daily. You coordinate with dispatch, handle daily inspections, and complete all required paperwork. This role rewards safety and efficiency with quarterly bonuses and overtime opportunities.
What You'll Do8
- 1Load and unload petroleum products following DOT and company regulations.
- 2Operate trucks safely under state and federal laws, including FMCSA standards.
- 3Inspect vehicles daily: check oil, water, fuel, tires, and tank integrity.
- 4Complete and transmit all delivery paperwork per company procedures.
- 5Communicate route updates and delivery confirmations with dispatchers.
- 6Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- 7Adhere to Hazmat and Tanker endorsement requirements during all transfers.
- 8Pass random drug and alcohol tests as required by DOT and FMCSA.
Requirements8
- 1Valid Class A or Class B CDL and acceptable driving record meeting DOT and FMCSA standards.
- 2Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
- 3TWIC card or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
- 41+ years fuel or hazardous material transport experience preferred.
- 5Completion of DOT pre-employment drug test and ongoing random testing.
- 6Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate meeting DOT and FMCSA qualifications.
- 7Availability for weekends and extended hours as business needs require.
- 8Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
