Front Office Specialist, Eye Care & Patient Experience
Overview
Own the patient check-in and check-out experience at our Glendale clinic, delivering world class service across all touchpoints. You will handle front desk duties, schedule coordination, and patient communications in a fast, team oriented environment. This role sits within EyeCare Partners' national network and supports daily operations to drive patient satisfaction and efficient flow. You’ll join a collaborative office team focused on accuracy, HIPAA compliance, and compassionate care.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build a welcoming patient experience from first contact through checkout
- 2Manage patient flow and communication to maximize efficiency and service quality
- 3Double check insurance authorizations to ensure accurate flow sheets
- 4Check out patients and collect payments according to procedures
- 5Complete daily reconciliations and close out the day
Requirements6
- 1High School Diploma or GED
- 21 year of customer or patient facing experience
- 3Previous medical office or optometry/ophthalmology exposure preferred
- 4Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- 5Able to pass background check and provide identity/work authorization
- 6Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
