Freight Settlement Analyst, TMS & Invoice Validation
Overview
Own freight settlement across 9 CPS plants, driving digital transformation of invoicing and payment. Collaborate with SAP S4H TM, FourKites, and 3PL partners to ensure audit compliance and dispute resolution. Report to Global Logistics Service and work with cross-functional teams. This role focuses on process discipline and change management, with a clear mandate to reduce disputes and improve payment terms adherence.
What You'll Do10
- 1Oversee freight settlement activities across 9 CPS plants, aligning with SAP S4H TM workflows.
- 2Support dispute resolution, audit compliance, and payment terms adherence for all freight invoices.
- 3Audit lane and rate master data in FourKites to prevent settlement disputes proactively.
- 4Evaluate contracts, tariffs, and service agreements to ensure compliance with settlement processes.
- 5Collaborate with operational teams to clarify invoice discrepancies and resolve them within 48 hours.
- 6Monitor freight costs and document data accurately in Excel and SAP for efficient settlement.
- 7Assist in audits and investigations by providing documentation and data from TMS reports.
- 8Build relationships with vendors and suppliers to resolve settlement conflicts quickly.
- 9Implement process improvements to increase settlement accuracy by 10% in the first quarter.
- 10Coordinate with accounts payable and receivable to keep all freight payments on schedule.
Requirements10
- 13-5 years in freight settlement, carrier invoice validation, and dispute resolution.
- 2Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field (preferred).
- 3Expertise in Transportation Management Systems like FourKites or SAP S4H TM.
- 4Strong process documentation skills, including writing SOPs and work instructions.
- 5Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and projects.
- 6Experience with data analytics to model scenarios and assess risks.
- 7Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for global collaboration.
- 8Proficient in spoken and written English; able to handle language barriers.
- 9Ability to work in a hybrid schedule with onsite presence Tuesday through Thursday.
- 10Own laptop and reliable internet for remote work.
