Overview
Own international shipment scheduling, documentation, and inventory tracking at a Houston-based logistics team. Manage Drayage Intermodal, LTL, and FTL shipping while coordinating with customers and internal systems. What You'll Do9
- 1Build and coordinate international shipments including Drayage Intermodal, LTL, and FTL to ensure on-time delivery
- 2Process and maintain accurate shipping documentation for each shipment including customs where applicable
- 3Track inventory and monitor warehouse storage data to optimize space and throughput
- 4Enter data promptly into logistics systems to support real-time visibility
- 5Communicate effectively with customers regarding shipment status and inquiries to ensure satisfaction
- 6Maintain data accuracy and integrity across multiple systems and platforms
- 7Coordinate with warehouse and carrier partners to resolve delays and issues
- 8Monitor shipment milestones and generate status updates for stakeholders
- 9Collaborate with the Logistics Manager to improve processes and accuracy through better data management
Requirements9
- 13+ years of experience in logistics or freight coordination
- 2High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 3Experience with inventory management
- 4Knowledge of shipping documentation processes
- 5Strong data entry skills
- 6Excellent communication abilities
- 7Attention to detail
- 8Problem-solving skills
- 9Proficiency in Excel spreadsheet management
