Forward Deployed Product Manager - Finance
Overview
You will own the full client lifecycle for large enterprise clients at an early-stage fintech building a modern treasury platform for US finance teams. You will deploy, onboard, and expand the largest clients, working directly with founders and CFOs. You will coordinate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and compliance to remove blockers, and feed client feedback into the product roadmap. This is a foundational role as one of the first US hires, based on-site in New York City, with direct access to leadership and significant equity upside.
What You'll Do8
- 1Deploy and onboard large clients end-to-end: account setup, funds migration, integrations, training, and go-live.
- 2Own client relationships as the primary point of contact, running check-ins, QBRs, and proactive outreach.
- 3Coordinate with product, engineering, compliance, and banking partners to keep deployments on schedule.
- 4Guide clients through technical and mechanical challenges during implementation, speaking the language of finance teams.
- 5Identify expansion opportunities across entities, products, and balances to drive wallet growth.
- 6Translate client feedback into prioritized signals for the product team and champion client needs internally.
- 7Build and refine the onboarding playbook to accelerate future deployments.
- 8Deepen client usage across yield, FX, and cash management to maximize platform value.
Requirements10
- 12-6 years experience in finance or client-facing analytical role (banking, asset management, treasury, corporate finance, consulting, or fintech).
- 2Fluency in cash management, yield optimization, and FX concepts, applied to client treasury workflows.
- 3Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder deployments end-to-end.
- 4Experience owning client relationships through full lifecycle: onboarding, account management, QBRs, and expansion.
- 5Strong communication skills to explain financial concepts to founders and hold your own with CFOs.
- 6Ability to translate between technical/product teams and finance stakeholders.
- 7Experience driving wallet expansion or upsell opportunities within existing accounts.
- 8Experience building or deploying AI agents to automate workflows (professional or personal).
- 9Comfort with ambiguity and high ownership mentality, ready to build from day one.
- 10Nice to have: track record of owning client, revenue, or retention goals, B2B SaaS deployment/customer success experience, or banking integrations/fund migration experience.
