What You'll Do10
- 1Prepare chemical solutions and formulations following standardized procedures and experimental protocols.
- 2Conduct synthesis and blending of raw materials to develop new or improved chemical products.
- 3Operate lab equipment such as mixers, reactors, pH meters, and viscometers to support formulation and testing.
- 4Perform stability, purity, and potency tests on formulations to ensure product performance and reliability.
- 5Record detailed experimental data and test results in lab notebooks and digital systems with high accuracy.
- 6Assist in scaling formulations from lab development to pilot and full production, optimizing process transfer.
- 7Troubleshoot formulation issues by identifying root causes and adjusting component ratios or processing conditions.
- 8Ensure all formulations comply with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements, including cGMP and OSHA guidelines.
- 9Collaborate with chemists, engineers, and quality control teams to support product development and continuous improvement.

Requirements10
- 11-3 years of experience in chemical formulation or synthesis.
- 2Strong understanding of chemical interactions, solubility, and stability.
- 3Ability to prepare and test formulations using mixers, reactors, pH meters, and viscometers.
- 4Familiarity with analytical techniques such as HPLC and spectroscopy.
- 5Knowledge of regulatory standards including GMP, GLP, and safe handling of Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
- 6Excellent documentation skills for accurate data recording in lab notebooks and digital systems.
- 7Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve formulation and process issues.
- 8Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- 9Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field.
