Overview
You will support both lab teams at a biotech facility in Fremont, CA, handling incoming samples and preparing them per lab protocols. You will perform cell-based assays, ensuring accurate results for client projects. This 3-month contract offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced laboratory. What You'll Do7
- 1Receive incoming samples and log them into the lab tracking system
- 2Prepare samples according to each lab's specific protocols for analysis
- 3Perform cell-based assays following standard operating procedures
- 4Support both lab teams by assisting with daily tasks as needed
- 5Maintain accurate records of sample preparation and assay results
- 6Communicate any discrepancies or issues to the lab supervisor promptly
- 7Adhere to safety and quality guidelines in all lab activities
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field (chemistry, biochemistry, biology preferred)
- 20-2 years of relevant experience in a laboratory setting
- 3Industry lab experience strongly preferred
- 4Ability to work onsite in Fremont, CA, Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm
- 5Flexibility to support multiple groups and adapt to changing priorities
