Forklift Driver, Operations at DSV Goodyear
Overview
Owning forklift operations and material movement in a large logistics site with a focus on safe, accurate storage and shipping. You will work on site at the Goodyear facility as part of a global transport and logistics provider. Collaborate with warehousing teams to meet performance, safety, and quality objectives. This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-moving distribution environment and exposure to WMS data input and inventory control.
What You'll Do9
- 1Build accurate receiving and put-away processes using WMS data input
- 2Drive order picking and preparation for shipment to meet customer service standards
- 3Ship and stage product safely to production lines and docks
- 4Maintain inventory records and perform physical inventories
- 5Ensure quality and safety compliance and housekeeping in the warehouse
- 6Operate forklift and other MHE safely and perform routine maintenance
- 7Assist with labeling, packing, and repacking tasks as needed
- 8Support continuous improvement by following SOPs and site policies
- 9Documentations and freight preparation with proper compliance
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or GED
- 26 months experience in logistics or distribution
- 3Able to operate MHE
- 4Forklift certification and ability to maintain certification
- 5Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures
- 6Proficiency with basic computer skills and RF scanners
- 7Basic math to verify quantities and counts
- 8Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
