Food Server, Casino Restaurant Service
Overview
You will own the guest experience in the dining room at Valley Forge Casino Resort, delivering food and beverage service in a high-volume casino environment. You will handle orders through a computerized guest check system, coordinate with kitchen staff, and ensure every guest receives prompt, courteous service. Working alongside a dedicated team, you will maintain cleanliness and uphold service standards. What You'll Do7
- 1Greet guests and take food and beverage orders using the computerized guest check system.
- 2Retrieve prepared orders from the kitchen and deliver them to guests, balancing trays and pushing carts of food and beverages weighing 20-30 pounds.
- 3Maintain cleanliness of all dining room areas, including tables, floors, and service stations.
- 4Present checks to guests, collect payments, and process transactions through the POS system.
- 5Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about the menu and specials.
- 6Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely order delivery.
- 7Uphold casino resort service standards and food safety protocols.
Requirements7
- 16+ months of food and beverage service experience preferred.
- 2Working knowledge of food specialty or cuisine and service standards in a specific room.
- 3Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the shift.
- 4Ability to lift and carry trays weighing 40 pounds.
- 5Must be able to communicate in English.
- 6Must be able to obtain and maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
- 7Excellent customer service and communication skills.
