Floor Technician, Healthcare Facility Cleaning & Night Shift
Overview
Floor Technician at TouchPoint supports hospital facilities with hard surface and carpet care at Ascension Seton Hospital in Austin. You’ll operate industrial floor care equipment, perform restoration tasks, and maintain floors across large areas. What You'll Do10
- 1Build and perform hard surface floor maintenance including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing
- 2Operate industrial floor care equipment and automate cleaning for large floor areas
- 3Maintain carpet and upholstery care including shampooing, damp cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming
- 4Perform restorative processes for all floor surface types and support ongoing maintenance
- 5Adhere to safety procedures and follow established floor care protocols
- 6Assist with other duties as assigned by manager to support hospital facilities
- 7Document and report equipment needs and maintenance activities at shift end
- 8Collaborate with housekeeping and facilities teams to ensure high standards of cleanliness
- 9Maintain readiness for inspections and audits related to floor care standards
- 10Demonstrate reliability and dependability during night shift hours
Requirements10
- 1Previous floor care experience required
- 2Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques
- 3Ability to follow safety procedures
- 4Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs
- 5Shift: 11:00 pm to 7:30 am, Sunday through Thursday
- 6Location: Ascension Seton Hospital, Austin TX
