You will own floor maintenance and restoration across a healthcare campus, operating industrial equipment for hard and soft surfaces. What You'll Do7
- 1Strip and refinish hard floor surfaces using industrial floor care equipment within the first 90 days, ensuring a high-gloss finish.
- 2Operate burnishers, spray cleaners, and buffers to maintain hard floors, following proper procedures for each step.
- 3Run automated scrubbers and sweepers for large areas, covering all zones in the healthcare facility.
- 4Shampoo, extract, and spot clean carpets and upholstery, addressing stains and maintaining appearance.
- 5Perform restorative processes on all floor types, including tile, vinyl, and concrete, to extend lifespan.
- 6Follow safety protocols when handling chemicals and equipment, reporting any hazards to the manager.
- 7Complete additional maintenance tasks as assigned, ensuring all surfaces meet cleanliness standards.
Requirements6
- 11+ years of floor care experience in a healthcare setting, required.
- 2Proven knowledge of floor care equipment including burnishers, buffers, and extractors.
- 3Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly.
- 4Knowledge of hard-surface and carpet maintenance techniques, including stripping, refinishing, and shampooing.
- 5Follow safety procedures and handle chemicals safely.
- 6Work a set schedule: 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, rotating weekdays and weekends.
