What You'll Do6
- 1Operate buffers, carpet extractors, and floor scrubbers to clean and maintain floors, carpets, and other surfaces.
- 2Restock cleaning supplies and equipment to keep the floor care closet ready.
- 3Inspect floors daily to catch scuffs, stains, or damage early.
- 4Coordinate with housekeeping staff to ensure every zone meets sanitation standards.
- 5Flag maintenance issues like loose tiles or broken equipment to facility management immediately.
- 6Follow chemical safety protocols when mixing and using cleaning solutions.
Requirements5
- 11+ years experience as a floor tech or janitorial role, or equivalent hands-on training.
- 2Hands-on skill with floor buffers and carpet extractors.
- 3Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for full shifts.
- 4Basic reading skills to follow MSDS sheets and labels.
- 5Reliable transportation to Burnham, IL.
