Floor Technician at Glenview Wellness and Rehabilitation Center
Overview
We seek a dedicated Floor Technician to lead daily housekeeping and maintenance efforts at our Dallas facility. You will ensure a clean safe and comfortable environment while supporting resident care through meticulous attention to detail. What You'll Do19
- 1Follow work assignments to wash seal wax and buffer all floors using proper techniques
- 2Perform maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs and cleaning vents and registers
- 3Keep grounds clear of debris and sweep entrance areas
- 4Wash windows and screens as assigned
- 5Assist with lubricating mobility aids and assistive devices
- 6Clean and disinfect fixtures fixtures floors walls doors and ceilings
- 7Scour polish water fountains sinks mirrors and glass panels
- 8Change slip covers scarves and doilies when soiled
- 9Clean ledges shelves vents windows and arrange furniture
- 10Remove and rehang curtains drapes and dividers
- 11Replenish soap and towels in appropriate receptacles
- 12Work with residents nurses physicians and staff on environmental services
- 13Provide follow up for information requests and consult with management on best practices
- 14Perform housekeeping duties and maintenance tasks as defined in the environmental program
- 15Obtain lists of rooms to be cleaned and track prospective admissions for room readiness
- 16Clean floors using appropriate methods and follow carpet stripping and waxing procedures
- 17Monitor and replenish cleaning products and inventory stock levels
- 18Utilize industrial cleaning equipment and return unused supplies to proper areas
- 19Support housekeeping and laundry departments to fulfill vacancies
Requirements5
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Highschool diploma or equivalency preferred
- 3One year's work experience in commercial establishments with laundry/housekeeping knowledge
