What You'll Do11
- 1Greet store customers in a helpful manner and support store design walk-in needs
- 2Schedule design appointments for existing and potential customers while developing clientele through networking referrals and internal leads
- 3Provide tile wood stone and accessory advice to homeowners interior designers and builders for residential and commercial projects
- 4Design and sell complete functional and aesthetically appealing solutions
- 5Manage multiple simultaneous customer projects through all phases with high accuracy timeliness and follow-up
- 6Use company communication tools and emails consistently
- 7Collaborate with store leadership to manage projects from inquiry to installation
- 8Support company initiatives by modeling and coaching best practices
- 9Stay current with design trends and operate in a warehouse environment with moderate to noisy levels
- 10Lift carry push pull objects using hand strength as needed
- 11Occasionally stand walk reach climb or balance and stoop kneel crouch or crawl
Requirements11
- 1Minimum one year interior design experience or prior retail sales experience
- 2Degree in Design is a plus
- 3Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus
- 4Basic mathematical skills required
- 5Self-motivated multitasker comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- 6Excellent verbal written and interpersonal skills
- 7Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- 8Internal candidates must have twelve months design consultant experience
- 9Ability to exert physical force up to ten pounds constantly
- 10Familiarity with Salesforce and proprietary online design appointment scheduler
- 11Experience with MyProject
