Float Universal Banker, Banking & Customer Service at a Local Bank
Overview
The Float Universal Banker will own the customer experience across multiple offices, delivering consistent, friendly service and driving relationship growth at scale. You will support in-person, phone, and email interactions with current and potential customers while applying knowledge of traditional banking products and services. You will collaborate with teammates across branches and departments to elevate service quality and meet regional goals. This role offers exposure to sales, lending opportunities, and cross-functional partnerships in a growing regional bank.
What You'll Do9
- 1Build trusted relationships with customers across branches to identify needs and present relevant solutions consumer banking lending mortgage opportunities
- 2Design and process a variety of banking transactions accurately while safeguarding against fraud and ensuring privacy cash handling account security transaction processing
- 3Lead customer interactions with enthusiasm, greet customers, and strive to exceed expectations while maintaining compliance with policies and procedures customer service policy adherence security
- 4Own referrals to mortgage, treasury management, financial advisors, and other bank partners to deepen relationships referrals cross-selling partnerships
- 5Scale operations by assisting with deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments across multiple offices as needed multi-office support payments deposits
- 6Drive adherence to disclosures, audit standards, and security policies across all transactions compliance risk management policy
- 7Ship high-quality service through effective use of system software and collaboration with other departments to optimize customer experience software proficiency team collaboration
- 8Debug customer issues by recognizing account flags, holds, and inconsistencies and resolving them promptly account accuracy troubleshooting
- 9Promote banking online and payment products to customers, expanding digital adoption and convenience online banking digital payments
Requirements10
- 13-5 years in a customer-facing banking or financial services role
- 2Proven sales skills and ability to build relationships with customers and communities
- 3Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 4Intermediate experience with office technology tools and banking software
- 5Strong customer service mindset with attention to detail
- 6Ability to travel among offices within a region as needed
- 7Demonstrated ability to work with limited supervision and manage multiple tasks
- 8Knowledge of traditional bank products and services
- 9Commitment to maintaining customer privacy and following security procedures
- 10Must be able to pass background checks and meet regulatory requirements
