Fish Cutter/Packer, Seafood Processing & Packaging Operations
Overview
Lead the daily slicing, packaging and labeling of high quality seafood products for distribution to foodservice partners. Operate in a refrigerated production environment with strict food safety standards and GMP adherence. Collaborate with the production team to hit daily goals while maintaining product integrity and organization. This role blends hands-on packaging, quality control, and efficient workflow within a fast paced seafood operation.
What You'll Do8
- 1Ship finished products by following company specifications
- 2Package and label fish products with precision to maintain quality
- 3Maintain product quality and food safety standards throughout production
- 4Prepare finished products for shipment and distribution
- 5Assist with product handling, sorting, and packing operations
- 6Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area
- 7Follow all safety procedures, GMPs, and company policies
- 8Support production efficiency and meet daily production goals
Requirements6
- 1Physical ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods in a refrigerated environment
- 2Regularly lift up to 75 pounds and move more than 125 pounds with equipment
- 3Ability to read and follow labeling and packaging specifications
- 4Comfort working in a cold, damp production setting
- 5Willingness to work a 2pm - 10:30pm shift, up to 6 days a week
- 6Attention to safety procedures and GMP compliance
