Overview
The Fish Cutter will own the preparation, cutting, and portioning of fish for sushi and sashimi at Kura Sushi Chandler, serving guests with high quality, safety, and speed. You will work with the culinary team on a fast paced, tech-enabled sushi restaurant and learn Kura standards. This role emphasizes precision, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction within a collaborative team. What You'll Do6
- 1Build high-quality fish cuts for sushi and sashimi with consistent portioning
- 2Prepare and portion fish following Kura standards for quality and safety
- 3Maintain food safety and restaurant cleanliness to meet health standards
- 4Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure timely service during peak hours
- 5Learn and apply Kura standards for sushi preparation and presentation
- 6Support cross-functional teams during shift changes to maintain workflow
