Overview
You will lead financial operations for a homecare organization in New York, owning budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning. You will drive fiscal strategy across a $10M+ portfolio, ensuring GAAP and IFRS compliance while directing a finance team. Your work will directly shape organizational growth through expert stewardship and data-driven decisions.
What You'll Do7
- 1Build financial strategies that align with organizational goals, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
- 2Oversee corporate accounting functions: general ledger, reconciliations, and GAAP/ IFRS financial statements.
- 3Manage regulatory reporting under ASC 606 revenue recognition and governmental accounting standards.
- 4Direct treasury operations: cash flow analysis, investment management, and cost control.
- 5Lead financial reporting, interpreting complex data with Excel and analytics tools to guide leadership.
- 6Drive risk management, implementing internal controls and mitigation strategies.
- 7Mentor the finance team in profit & loss analysis, cost accounting, and financial modeling.
Requirements7
- 15+ years in finance leadership with deep knowledge of IAS, IFRS, GAAP, and industry regulations.
- 2Proven background in non-profit and governmental accounting.
- 3Expert in risk analysis, compliance, regulatory reporting, and treasury management.
- 4Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and data analysis; proficiency with accounting software.
- 5Strong strategic planning with expertise in ASC 606 revenue recognition, budget development, and forecasting.
- 6Leadership experience managing finance teams focused on technical accounting and audits.
- 7Ability to interpret complex reports and communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.
