Overview
Develop and maintain RF-over-Fiber firmware for Firmware/Software Engineer roles. Work with electrical engineers and production staff to test and support embedded systems. What You'll Do6
- 1Develop and debug firmware for RF-over-Fiber systems using C and RTOS.
- 2Collaborate with electrical engineers to integrate firmware with FPGA and ARM hardware.
- 3Test and validate firmware to meet RF performance specifications.
- 4Support production by troubleshooting and resolving firmware issues.
- 5Maintain firmware documentation and version control with Git.
- 6Drive firmware features from concept to shipping product, owning the 90-day cycle.
Requirements7
- 13+ years in embedded firmware development with C and RTOS.
- 2Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 3Experience with RF or optical communication systems preferred.
- 4Proficiency with FPGA and ARM microcontrollers.
- 5Familiarity with Git for version control.
- 6Local to Los Angeles and willing to work onsite.
