Overview
You will own embedded firmware development for next-generation IoT devices, driving architecture from C and C++ codebases to production. What You'll Do8
- 1Design and implement embedded firmware using C and C++ for ARM-based microcontrollers.
- 2Debug and resolve firmware issues using JTAG, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
- 3Collaborate with hardware engineers to validate board bring-up and peripheral integration.
- 4Develop unit tests and integration tests for firmware modules using CMock and Unity.
- 5Optimize code for memory and power constraints on resource-limited devices.
- 6Ship production-ready firmware for connected products within the first 90 days.
- 7Drive code reviews and ensure compliance with MISRA C standards.
- 8Integrate wireless protocols such as Bluetooth Low Energy and Zigbee into firmware stacks.
Requirements8
- 15+ years of experience in embedded firmware development with C and C++.
- 22+ years of experience with RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or similar).
- 3Strong understanding of ARM Cortex-M architecture and peripheral programming.
- 4Experience with I2C, SPI, UART, and GPIO interfaces.
- 5Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines for firmware builds.
- 6Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 7Hands-on experience with JTAG debugging and logic analyzers.
- 8Knowledge of Bluetooth Low Energy protocol stack and implementation.
