Overview

Own field installation and support of Trimble Machine Control and related construction technology for heavy civil and earthmoving projects at scale. You will install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot systems on customer sites, collaborating with field teams, sales, and engineering to drive site performance. This role emphasizes hands-on technical leadership, safety, and exceptional customer service at multiple job sites.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and install Trimble Machine Control technology including equipment setup, testing, calibration, and customer training
  • 2Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and technology issues in the field to keep projects on track
  • 3Lead on-site technology system installations and preventative maintenance per service agreements
  • 4Read electrical schematics and apply basic circuit theory to troubleshoot equipment
  • 5Provide on-site customer support, technical assistance, and repairs for electronic components and wiring
  • 6Utilize diagnostic tools such as multimeters to test voltage, current, and continuity
  • 7Maintain strong customer relationships through proactive solutions and clear communication
  • 8Collaborate with sales, engineering, and service teams to support customer success
  • 9Travel to customer sites and work occasional weekends as needed
  • 10Promote SITECH Pacific and Trimble through professionalism and technical excellence

Requirements10

  • 1High school diploma or GED required
  • 2Experience with heavy construction equipment, hydraulics, machine control, or GPS technology preferred
  • 3Experience with Trimble or similar construction technology solutions preferred
  • 4Ability to read electrical schematics and understand basic circuit theory
  • 5Ability to obtain MSHA certification
  • 6Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • 7Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • 8Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with customers and team members
  • 9Physical ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, crawl, and lift up to 50 pounds and work in construction environments
  • 10Must complete site-specific training and pit driving requirements
