Overview

Diversified Fall Protection seeks a Field Technician to lead safety compliance for fall protection systems. This role drives site inspections and recertification processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational safety.

What You'll Do11

  • 1Access site conditions to determine recertification processes
  • 2Compare actual site conditions to engineered drawings for discrepancies
  • 3Direct communication with clients contractors and site personnel
  • 4Quality control and standardization for all recertification phases
  • 5Proactively monitor and track recertification progress
  • 6Serve as primary on-site representative delivering exceptional customer service
  • 7Identify opportunities for additional inspections repairs or new solutions
  • 8Educate customers on DFP products improving safety compliance
  • 9Partner with Sales Engineering Project Management and Operations
  • 10Maintain frequent communication regarding project status and technical issues
  • 11Exercise independent judgment evaluating field conditions with minimal supervision

Requirements11

  • 1High School Diploma or Trade School Graduate
  • 20-2 years civil construction inspection experience
  • 3Field construction means and methods knowledge
  • 4Ability to read engineered drawings
  • 5Full-time availability with flexible travel up to 95% of time
  • 6Strong customer service and relationship management skills
  • 7Proven ability to recognize customer needs and recommend solutions
  • 8Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • 9Critical thinking troubleshooting and decision-making capabilities
  • 10Independent work capability with multiple priorities
