Field Technician – Fall Protection Systems
Overview
Diversified Fall Protection seeks a Field Technician to lead safety compliance for fall protection systems. This role drives site inspections and recertification processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational safety.
What You'll Do11
- 1Access site conditions to determine recertification processes
- 2Compare actual site conditions to engineered drawings for discrepancies
- 3Direct communication with clients contractors and site personnel
- 4Quality control and standardization for all recertification phases
- 5Proactively monitor and track recertification progress
- 6Serve as primary on-site representative delivering exceptional customer service
- 7Identify opportunities for additional inspections repairs or new solutions
- 8Educate customers on DFP products improving safety compliance
- 9Partner with Sales Engineering Project Management and Operations
- 10Maintain frequent communication regarding project status and technical issues
- 11Exercise independent judgment evaluating field conditions with minimal supervision
Requirements11
- 1High School Diploma or Trade School Graduate
- 20-2 years civil construction inspection experience
- 3Field construction means and methods knowledge
- 4Ability to read engineered drawings
- 5Full-time availability with flexible travel up to 95% of time
- 6Strong customer service and relationship management skills
- 7Proven ability to recognize customer needs and recommend solutions
- 8Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- 9Critical thinking troubleshooting and decision-making capabilities
- 10Independent work capability with multiple priorities
- 11Collaboration across Sales Engineering Project Management and Operations
