Field Service Engineer at JBT Marel Corporation
Overview
Lead field service technician to install and commission complex mechanical hydraulic electrical and control systems. You will travel extensively leading large projects while ensuring safety quality and client satisfaction. This role combines technical expertise with leadership to drive successful installations.
What You'll Do11
- 1Install and commission new systems within schedule and budget covering mechanical hydraulic electrical and control components
- 2Troubleshoot and rebuild hydraulic systems variable pumps directional valves relief valves and intensifiers
- 3Perform centrifugal pump diagnostics and repairs
- 4Maintain filtration systems and provide training to customers and internal staff
- 5Conduct project administration reporting and lead site crews including contractors
- 6Coordinate complex tasks such as crane operations rigging electrical installation and plumbing
- 7Ensure compliance with personal and site safety standards
- 8Support quality assurance processes and develop professional growth plans
- 9Utilize PLC ladder logic and interpret technical drawings
- 10Operate high pressure equipment and advanced diagnostic tools
- 11Collaborate with cross functional teams to achieve project milestones
Requirements10
- 13+5 years field service technician experience with heavy travel requirements
- 2AAS or equivalent education and proven track record installing multimillion dollar equipment
- 3Expertise in reading hydraulic electrical mechanical prints and PLC programming
- 4Familiarity with cooling pneumatic and high low pressure systems
- 5Valid driver’s license and passport for international assignments
- 6Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently
- 7Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Excel databases
- 8Experience with ultra high pressure systems water jet cutting and industrial machinery
- 9Knowledge of food processing environments and relevant safety protocols
