Travel Industrial Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician
Overview
You will own electrical and multi-craft maintenance at customer sites across diverse industrial environments. Diagnose and repair 24V-480V systems, 3-phase motors, drives, and PLCs. What You'll Do10
- 1Diagnose and repair electrical systems including 24V-480V, 3-phase motors, drives, and PLCs.
- 2Perform preventive maintenance and break/fix troubleshooting on industrial equipment.
- 3Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and ladder logic.
- 4Troubleshoot PLC systems, with Allen-Bradley and Siemens preferred.
- 5Identify and resolve issues even without schematics.
- 6Support and improve conveyor systems, motors, and automation equipment.
- 7Install, test, and upgrade electrical components and systems.
- 8Train and mentor less experienced technicians.
- 9Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with site leadership.
- 10Uphold and promote a strong safety culture at all times.
Requirements14
- 110+ years of hands-on electrical or multi-craft maintenance experience.
- 2Strong troubleshooting skills in industrial environments.
- 3Experience with PLCs, drives, motors, and control systems.
- 4Ability to adapt quickly and work independently at customer sites.
- 5Strong communication skills and customer-facing professionalism.
- 6Willingness to travel 75%+ and work flexible schedules.
- 7Preferred: Master Electrician or Journeyman certification.
- 8Background in instrumentation and controls.
- 9Experience with automation systems and advanced troubleshooting.
- 10Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Google Suite.
- 11Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments.
- 12Comfortable working at heights, in tight spaces, and in varying conditions.
- 13Must be able to stand, walk, climb, bend, and maneuver throughout job sites.
- 14Ability to safely work on industrial surfaces and wear required PPE.
