Field Engineer, Ground-Up Commercial Construction in Phoenix
Overview
Field Engineer role supporting field operations on ground-up commercial projects in Phoenix AZ. You will work closely with Project Engineers Superintendents and Project Managers to gain hands-on experience across all phases of construction. You will assist with layout surveying project documentation quality assurance and field compliance while developing a clear path to higher project engineering and management roles.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build layout surveying and project documentation to support on-site decisions
- 2Design and maintain accurate logs drawings and daily field documentation
- 3Drive quality assurance and ensure field compliance with plans and specs
- 4Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to maintain schedule integrity
- 5Assist in driving schedule adherence and field productivity
- 6Support learning of GC processes with a path toward project engineering and management
- 7Collaborate with Project Engineers Superintendents and PMs to deliver ground-up projects on time
- 8Support safety programs and ensure fieldwork follows site protocols
- 9Assist with QA/QC checks and record-keeping to support project closeout
- 10Contribute to a culture of excellence and professional growth within the team
Requirements9
- 1Must be local to Arizona and able to work in AZ with no relocation offered
- 2Authorized to work in the United States no sponsorship
- 3Experience or internships in commercial construction preferred
- 4Comfortable working in the field and collaborating with PMs and Superintendents
- 5Strong communication organizational and problem-solving skills
- 6Commitment to long-term career development with a reputable GC
- 7Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
- 8Degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering or related field is a plus but not required
- 9A valid driver’s license may be required depending on project site
