Construction Superintendent, Landscape & Hardscape in Phoenix
Overview
Own on-site field operations for landscape, irrigation, lighting, and hardscape projects in Phoenix. Lead crews, manage schedule and budget, uphold safety and quality, and coordinate with project managers, architects, and inspectors. What You'll Do10
- 1Build on-site teams and direct crews to execute plans on schedule and within budget
- 2Read and interpret submittals drawings specs to fully understand scope before work begins
- 3Partner with Estimating and Project Management to develop realistic schedules
- 4Run quality control checks throughout each project phase to confirm work meets spec and industry standards
- 5Coordinate material orders and equipment to match plan specs and site needs
- 6Provide daily status updates to the Project Manager on active jobs
- 7Enforce field safety compliance PPE use and safe operation of equipment
- 8Understand and operate equipment commonly used in landscape construction
- 9Read blueprints and schematics and support budgeting and scheduling efforts
- 10Coordinate utility locate requests and ensure marks before digging starts
Requirements5
- 12+ years of landscape and hardscape construction experience
- 2Bilingual in English and Spanish
- 3Track record of leading and managing crews on active sites
- 4Hands-on experience across multiple project phases from groundbreaking to closeout
- 5Comfort reading blueprints and schematics and budgeting and scheduling experience
Salary Insight
$85 - $105k per year
