What You'll Do10
- 1Build and lead landscaping crews to complete irrigation and hardscape projects on time and within safety standards
- 2Supervise lawn care, grounds maintenance, and landscape upkeep to maintain pristine outdoor spaces
- 3Install and maintain irrigation systems, troubleshoot issues, and manage schedules for healthy plant growth
- 4Identify plants, trees, shrubs, and ground covers to ensure proper care and placement within designs
- 5Operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and precisely
- 6Oversee hardscape installations such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls
- 7Manage company vehicle operations to site locations while following safety protocols
- 8Provide guidance on landscaping techniques, safety procedures, and project goals
- 9Maintain records of progress, equipment usage, and materials inventory
- 10Collaborate with clients and project managers to ensure designs meet specifications
Requirements10
- 1Proven outdoor work experience with landscaping or grounds maintenance
- 2Strong knowledge of lawn care practices, landscape maintenance techniques, and horticulture principles
- 3Prior supervising or crew management experience in landscaping or related fields
- 4Ability to identify plants accurately and understand care requirements
- 5Experience operating irrigation systems and troubleshooting issues
- 6Skilled in hardscape installation including patios, walkways, retaining walls
- 7Valid driver’s license with ability to operate a company vehicle safely
- 8Familiarity with grounds maintenance equipment operation such as mowers, trimmers, blowers
- 9Leadership qualities with the ability to manage teams safely and effectively
- 10Physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions and ability to lift heavy materials
