Feeder Machine Operator in Phoenixville, PA
Overview
You will own the feeder and delivery sections of printing presses, completing make-ready and stacking completed cartons on pallets. You will assist with ink installation, equipment operation, and quality checks, and fill in for the assistant press operator when absent. This role sits on a 24/7 manufacturing floor with 8-hour or 12-hour shifts. You will join a stable manufacturer that promotes from within, offering a clear path to operator roles.
What You'll Do6
- 1Complete make-ready at the feeder and delivery sections of printing presses.
- 2Stack completed cartons on pallets as a repetitive task.
- 3Assist with ink installation, equipment operation, adjustments, and tests.
- 4Complete required quality checks on output.
- 5Fill in for the assistant press operator when absent.
- 6Perform housekeeping duties and other tasks as assigned.

- 1Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
- 2Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- 3Proficiency in reading and interpreting safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
- 4Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively.
- 5Basic mechanical aptitude.
- 6Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
- 7Ability to perform basic arithmetic and interpret bar graphs.
- 8Capability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
