You will serve as the FASD Program Navigator for the Violence Intervention Program (VIP) Community Mental Health Center, guiding families through FASD-informed services in Los Angeles County. You will coordinate care for Triumph and FMF programs, acting as the liaison between the LA General Medical Clinic and VIP-CMHC. What You'll Do10

  • 1Learn FASD program services and answer caregiver questions via phone, email, or in-person, clarifying enrollment steps.
  • 2Collaborate with intake on FASD referrals from Triumph and FMF, tracking client progress.
  • 3Collect outcome measures from caregivers for Triumph and FMF, entering data into Excel sheets.
  • 4Design marketing materials like brochures and flyers for FASD trainings.
  • 5Manage FASD training logistics: registration, certificate creation, and participant support.
  • 6Assemble FMF treatment binders for caregivers, ensuring all materials are complete.
  • 7Serve as communication liaison between LA General and VIP to coordinate screening flow.
  • 8Reach out to agencies such as DCFS, schools, and providers to gather documents for screenings.
  • 9Coordinate in-person screening appointments: escort families, collect measures, and make photocopies.
  • 10Access EmHUB database to download reports and upload completed documents.

Requirements7

  • 1BA/BS or 2+ years in a mental health setting.
  • 2Bilingual Spanish/English required.
  • 3Experience working with children and families.
  • 4Experience collaborating with DCFS or similar agencies.
  • 5Proficiency in Microsoft, Excel, and EHRs.
  • 6Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • 7Must pass a background investigation and have work authorization.
