Family Support Specialist, Maricopa County & In Home Services
Overview
Owns family support delivery at scale through in home case management and evidence based programs. Works with ADCS and RISE teams to stabilize family environments and build protective factors. Remote with occasional in office work, travel around Maricopa county, flexible hours including evenings and weekends. This role emphasizes compassionate engagement, collaboration, and compliance with state regulations.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build short term, time limited coordination of services based on family needs and reported stressors
- 2Meet with families regularly to address concerns using evidence based curriculum and community resources
- 3Accept responsibility for cases and proactively connect families to community resources
- 4Collaborate with RISE and ADCS staff to drive positive outcomes for families
- 5Ensure contract timelines and weekly progress notes are completed
- 6Be flexible to meet family needs including evenings and weekends and answer emergency lines when assigned
- 7Travel extensively around the assigned county or metro area to serve families
- 8Maintain accurate documentation and assessments and ensure adherence to policy and regulations
- 9Provide support to families to strengthen protective factors and home stability
- 10Participate in ongoing staff meetings and trainings to improve service delivery
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor's degree with related experience in family dynamics
- 2Experience with diverse families and cultural sensitivity
- 3Knowledge of child abuse, neglect and child development
- 4Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interpret policies
- 5Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- 6Ability to obtain background clearance and fingerprint clearance
- 7Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and ability to travel
- 8Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- 9Ability to complete drug testing and pass random screenings
- 10Clean driving record and vehicle inspection compliance
