Family Medicine Physician, Primary Care Seattle
Overview
Own comprehensive outpatient primary care for patients across the lifespan at a large not-for-profit healthcare system serving 600,000+ residents in the Seattle Metro Area. You will diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, and deliver preventive care within a team-based model. Work with EPIC EMR and integrated population health tools, supported by dedicated clinical staff and seamless specialty referrals. This role offers shared phone-only call and the chance to build long-term patient relationships while pursuing office-based procedures.
What You'll Do7
- 1Deliver comprehensive primary care for patients across the lifespan, from newborns to seniors, within your first 90 days.
- 2Diagnose and manage acute illnesses and chronic conditions, using EPIC to track outcomes and coordinate care.
- 3Develop preventive healthcare plans for each patient, integrating population health tools to identify gaps and improve metrics.
- 4Collaborate with clinical support staff and specialists through the integrated referral network to ensure continuity of care.
- 5Participate in shared phone-only call coverage, ensuring patient access while maintaining work-life balance.
- 6Perform office-based procedures and refine clinical interests with organizational support and mentorship.
- 7Document all patient encounters accurately and promptly in EPIC to support billing, quality, and care coordination.
Requirements6
- 1Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
- 2Eligible for Washington State medical license
- 3Active or eligible DEA registration
- 4Strong commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence
- 5Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
