Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner at Basecamp Recovery Center Columbus
Overview
PMHNP skilled clinician will provide psychiatric evaluation, MAT, and integrated care across rotating outpatient sites in Columbus Ohio. What You'll Do10
- 1Build direct patient care through psychiatric evaluations MAT services and medication management across Franklinton and Whitehall sites
- 2Design evidence based treatment plans for substance use disorders and co occurring mental health conditions
- 3Deliver MAT including buprenorphine induction maintenance and tapering across multiple locations
- 4Lead collaborative care with counselors case managers peer support specialists and nursing staff to ensure continuity of care
- 5Coordinate care and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support treatment planning and outcomes
- 6Ensure regulatory accreditation and best practice standards compliance across sites
- 7Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations diagnostic assessments and crisis assessments as needed
- 8Document encounters thoroughly in the EHR system and monitor patient response to medications
- 9Provide patient education on medications side effects and treatment expectations
- 10Travel between sites as required with mileage reimbursement and maintain consistent patient panels at assigned locations
Requirements10
- 1Master of Science in Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice
- 2Current unrestricted Ohio NP license
- 3PMHNP-BC or FNP-BC certification
- 4DEA license with prescriptive authority
- 5Knowledge of MAT including buprenorphine and naltrexone
- 6Understanding of psychiatric medication management for substance use disorders
- 7Knowledge of 42 CFR Part 2 HIPAA and OhioMHAS requirements
- 8Strong clinical judgment critical thinking communication and collaboration skills
- 9Reliable transportation and valid driver license for multi site travel
- 10X Waiver or buprenorphine prescribing training preferred
