Overview

You will own patient assessments and treatment plans for substance use disorders at Ideal Option, a national leader with 80+ clinics across 9 states. Your caseload spans opioids, alcohol, stimulants, and sedatives, with buprenorphine and naltrexone as core tools. You'll join a collaborative team of behavioral health and care coordination staff, all working in a supportive, on-site model. What You'll Do7

  • 1Conduct new and established patient assessments, building individualized treatment plans for substance use disorders.
  • 2Initiate and manage patients on buprenorphine and other maintenance medications.
  • 3Administer long-acting injectables including buprenorphine and naltrexone.
  • 4Monitor treatment response, adjust medications, and review lab results.
  • 5Collaborate with behavioral health and care coordination teams to ensure holistic care.
  • 6Document patient encounters in eCW EMR.
  • 7Deliver care in-person and via telemedicine as needed.

Requirements5

  • 1Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
  • 2Active DEA license
  • 3Strong communication and documentation skills
  • 4Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered addiction care
  • 5No prior addiction medicine experience required
