Float Addiction Nurse Practitioner (MAT) - Boston, MA
Overview
This role owns clinical coverage across five Massachusetts OBOT clinics, delivering telehealth and in-person care. You'll work with a multidisciplinary team providing MAT with buprenorphine and long-acting injectables. Serve patients in Woburn, Norton, Chelmsford, Gloucester, and Stoughton. What You'll Do8
- 1Conduct comprehensive assessments and admissions for MAT in telehealth and in-person settings.
- 2Develop individualized treatment plans for opioid use disorder and alcohol use disorder.
- 3Initiate and manage buprenorphine and other evidence-based treatment modalities.
- 4Administer long-acting injectables including Sublocade, Brixadi, and Vivitrol.
- 5Collaborate with counseling, nursing, and administrative teams to coordinate patient care.
- 6Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.
- 7Adhere to federal, state, and organizational clinical standards and regulations.
- 8Participate in quality improvement initiatives and best practices in addiction medicine.
Requirements10
- 1Current Nurse Practitioner license in Massachusetts.
- 2Current MSCR and DEA registration with authority to prescribe controlled substances.
- 3Experience initiating and managing treatment for opioid use disorder and alcohol use disorder.
- 4Experience providing Medication Assisted Treatment.
- 5Strong understanding of evidence-based addiction treatment practices.
- 6Ability to provide both telehealth and in-person clinical services.
- 7Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
- 8Willingness to travel between designated Massachusetts locations.
- 9Preferred: Prior experience in addiction medicine or behavioral health settings.
- 10Preferred: Experience administering long-acting injectables like Sublocade, Brixadi, and Vivitrol.
