Facility Maintenance Technician – JLL
Overview
Facility Maintenance Technician – JLL performs preventive and corrective maintenance on critical life sciences facility systems ensuring operational performance regulatory compliance and safety standards. Responsible for maintaining equipment including HVAC systems laboratory equipment clean utilities and facility infrastructure while meeting FDA EPA OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
What You'll Do7
- 1Maintain troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems laboratory equipment clean utilities and facility infrastructure Boilers and Chillers
- 2Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on Mechanical Plumbing Fire Life Safety and Control systems
- 3Monitor and maintain environmental control systems temperature humidity air pressure differentials and air quality parameters essential for life sciences operations
- 4Execute corrective maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime with minimal disruption to client operations
- 5Manage preventative maintenance purchasing and inventory control contracted maintenance and general maintenance activities
- 6Provide 24/7 on-call support for critical system failures coordinate with operations teams to minimize impact on production schedules
- 7Review monthly client service request summaries to identify and correct recurrent operational problems
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma GED or equivalent vocational trade program or associate degree in mechanical electrical or related technical field preferred EPA Universal CFC certification within 90 days of employment
- 2Minimum 3+ years of similar facility maintenance experience with Boilers and Chillers proficiency in CMMS and work order management
- 3Current driver's license OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour safety training certifications in relevant trades knowledge of clean utilities systems and computer applications Word Excel
- 4Ability to lift up to 50 pounds work in confined spaces navigate facility infrastructure and comply with GMP guidelines
- 5Experience working in FDA-regulated environments familiarity with purifed water and compressed air systems understanding of AI-driven recruitment platform
