Facilities Technician III - T1 Energy
Overview
T1 Energy seeks a Facilities Technician III to lead maintenance operations at our Dallas based solar manufacturing facility. This full-time hourly position involves advanced troubleshooting system optimization and mentoring junior staff. The ideal candidate will ensure facility systems operate safely and efficiently while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
What You'll Do11
- 1Perform advanced diagnostics and repair of HVAC electrical plumbing compressed air and building automation systems
- 2Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime
- 3Mentor Facilities Technicians I and II under limited supervision
- 4Coordinate contractor and vendor maintenance activities
- 5Analyze performance data to implement efficiency improvements
- 6Support capital projects equipment installations and facility upgrades
- 7Ensure compliance with safety environmental and regulatory requirements
- 8Develop SOPs and maintain documentation
- 9Participate in root cause analysis for equipment failures
- 10Support audits and inspections maintaining HSE policies
- 11Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering production and EHS teams
Requirements9
- 1Strong technical expertise in mechanical electrical HVAC and controls systems
- 2Proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems and lead problem resolution
- 3Experience with CMMS software
- 45+ years of facilities maintenance experience especially in manufacturing
- 5High school diploma or GED required with technical certification preferred
- 6Knowledge of OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- 7Excellent communication and analytical skills
- 8Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- 9Full-time hourly availability with flexible scheduling options
