Own all facility rentals at the Nancy Watten Event and Technology Center, a premier district venue. What You'll Do10

  • 1Schedule and administer all facility rentals, from initial request to post-event follow-up, using Microsoft Excel to track bookings and payments.
  • 2Coordinate with renters, contractors, and internal departments to ensure every event meets client expectations and district policies.
  • 3Develop and enforce safety protocols for visitors, staff, and property, following all CFBISD guidelines during event setup and execution.
  • 4Manage rental communication, including event details, modifications, and questions, keeping all CFBISD departments informed of schedule updates.
  • 5Process rental applications and invoices, verifying accuracy and ensuring payments are collected within budget.
  • 6Create pre-rental packages and rental guides in collaboration with the Communications department to set clear expectations.
  • 7Publish event listings and maintain an updated schedule for internal departments to coordinate resources.
  • 8Support the development of special event policies and promotional materials, including website and social media content.
  • 9Operate Crestron and Extron A/V presentation platforms during events, troubleshooting issues as needed.
  • 10Work nights, weekends, and holidays as events require, and travel within the district for on-site coordination.

Requirements9

  • 1Bachelor's degree in hospitality, events management, communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 22+ years experience developing, organizing, and executing large-scale initiatives.
  • 3A valid Texas Driver's License and reliable transportation for local travel.
  • 4Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data manipulation and reporting.
  • 5Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the internet for daily tasks.
  • 6Experience with Crestron and Extron control systems for A/V presentations.
  • 7Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills to handle vendor and client issues.
  • 8Excellent written and oral communication for clear interactions with diverse groups.
  • 9Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, and adapt to changing schedules.
