What You'll Do11
- 1Perform routine maintenance and light housekeeping throughout buildings and grounds
- 2Complete service requests for repairs and maintenance of apartments common areas equipment and vehicles
- 3Assist with HVAC heating air conditioning and refrigeration system maintenance
- 4Maintain flooring carpeting and hard surfaces including make-ready apartments
- 5Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime and extend asset life
- 6Respond to maintenance emergencies and on-call requests outside scheduled hours
- 7Ensure work complies with safety standards OSHA guidelines and life safety regulations
- 8Monitor community grounds and buildings for safety hazards and report concerns
- 9Maintain tools equipment and maintenance areas in a clean organized condition
- 10Communicate effectively with leadership and team members about work status and priorities
- 11Assist with special projects and seasonal maintenance tasks as assigned
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or equivalent minimum one year maintenance facilities experience
- 2Working knowledge of plumbing electrical mechanical and general repairs
- 3General understanding of OSHA standards fire prevention and life safety regulations
- 4Ability to respond to emergency maintenance calls outside normal working hours
- 5Strong organizational time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities
