Overview
Dexcom Corporation seeks a facilities professional to lead enterprise capital planning and investment decisions. This role coordinates annual capital planning with Business Unit leaders and partners with Finance to create unified enterprise-wide portfolios. Successful candidates will develop tools and models to optimize investments while improving health outcomes globally.
What You'll Do9
- 1Coordinate annual Enterprise Capital Planning process with Business Unit leaders Finance and Functional teams
- 2Develop and improve tools templates processes and training for consistent enterprise capital planning budgeting and approvals
- 3Consolidate investment requests across all capital categories identifying overlaps dependencies and optimization opportunities
- 4Create advanced portfolio models and scenario analyses to evaluate alternative investment strategies funding constraints and business priorities
- 5Produce executive-quality portfolio reporting dashboards and insights communicating performance trends and optimization opportunities
- 6Partner with Finance to maintain single enterprise capital dataset covering budgets forecasts actual spend commitments and transfers
- 7Leverage AI automation and analytical tools to enhance forecasting reporting and decision support
- 8Drive strategic capital allocation aligned with Dexcom’s long-term objectives
- 9Maintain flexible workplace arrangement with home office primary location requiring commute within 75 miles of Dexcom site
Requirements11
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 22-5 years previous management or lead experience
- 3Bachelor’s degree with 8-12 years industry experience
- 4Experience working in capital-intensive environments such as manufacturing life sciences medical devices or pharmaceuticals
- 5Proven ability to collaborate across diverse global teams and functions
- 6Strong commercial acumen understanding how capital investment supports business strategy operational performance and long-term value creation
- 7Excellent organizational skills coordinating multiple stakeholders competing priorities and large enterprise portfolios
- 8Outstanding communication and presentation skills preparing concise executive-level materials for senior leadership
- 9Experience with AI automation tools improving productivity generating insights and supporting business decisions
- 10Ability to synthesize large complex datasets into clear recommendations for senior leadership
- 11Advanced financial modeling and scenario planning skills developing sophisticated portfolio models and investment analyses
