Divisional Engineering & Capital Manager
Overview
Strategic leader overseeing multi‑million dollar CAPEX portfolio reporting to Director of Operations and EHS. Drives infrastructure expansion technology upgrades and new product lines delivering on time on budget and top safety quality standards. Provides executive‑level guidance on capital allocation risk and ROI translating long‑term business goals into actionable project plans.
What You'll Do11
- 1Develop and implement a comprehensive capital expenditure strategy aligning with long‑term business objectives identifying evaluating and prioritizing projects based on strategic fit financial viability risk and ROI
- 2Manage the overall CAPEX portfolio ensuring balanced resource allocation and adherence to the strategic roadmap
- 3Create end‑to‑end programs aligned with business objectives research and development and launch new products
- 4Lead all major capital projects from conceptualization through execution monitoring control and successful closeout
- 5Ensure projects are delivered on time within budget and meet performance quality criteria acting as strategic member of Operations Leadership Team
- 6Proactively identify assess and mitigate financial operational technical and regulatory risks develop contingency plans and implement robust risk management strategies
- 7Select negotiate and manage third‑party vendors contractors and consultants establishing clear contracts performance metrics and service level agreements
- 8Monitor contractor performance ensure compliance with contractual obligations
- 9Build mentor and lead high‑performing team of project managers engineers and technical specialists fostering collaborative accountable environment promoting professional development
- 10Conduct performance reviews provide constructive feedback establish communication channels with internal and external stakeholders present regular project status reports financial updates and strategic recommendations to executive management and serve as primary contact seeking board approval for all CapEx projects
- 11Drive continuous improvement in CAPEX processes methodologies and tools implementing industry best practices in project management engineering and construction to enhance efficiency reduce costs and improve outcomes
Requirements5
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 210+ years manufacturing experience
- 3Preferred previous experience with CapEx Chemical or refining
- 4Required Bachelor's degree in Engineering Civil Mechanical Electrical Chemical Construction Management Business Administration Finance or related field
- 5Required proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint
